The historic Balinese Pier Showroom presents a July 4th "Fireworks and Guitars"
Extravaganza!

The exclusive Balinese South Seas Showroom will be opened to the public for this show. (Cover is only $5!)

Start the evening with a breathtaking view of the City of Galveston's annual fireworks display from the decks of the Surf Room and the Seawall Bar. The fireworks reflect from the waves for the city's best viewing location. The Seawall Bar is open all day. The new Surf Room opens at 8:00 P.M., with fireworks at 9:15 P.M.

Then, move to the tropical, retro ambiance of the magnificent Showroom, on Galveston's best stage to hear the dueling lead guitars of Leo Aston ofLeo's Trio with special guest Mike Minnot, playing sizzling blues rock and classic rock and soul standards.

The party lasts all night, until 2:00 A.M.!

The legendary Balinese Room nightclub in Galveston has been restored and reopened, after nearly twenty years of neglect and vacancy. The historic night club (formerly a plush gambling casino and show venue featuring Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Jack Benny and all the stars of the 40's and 50's) is located 600 feet into the Gulf on a pier at 21st Street (across from the Galvez Hotel on Seawall Blvd.)

The historic Balinese Room pier is expanding its Seawall Bar hours to:

Mon--Wed - 3:00pm-- mid evening
Thurs--Sat - noon- 2:00am
Sun noon- 10:00pm

Great drink prices, friendly service, and an incomparable location over the waves.

We often have bands Friday or Saturday night, Sunday afternoon and sometimes Saturday afternoon in the Seawall Bar--no cover!

Thursday is "open mic nite"--come hear some bluesy,beachy, cool tunes for free, and gaze out over the beach, under the bright moon.

We have happy hour 3-6pm every weekday and all day Tuesday--drink specials and great prices.

Come check out our great old photos of the big stars that played here, portraits of the gambling empire "family" that owned the Balinese (and most of Galveston) in the "day", and our gambling paraphernalia. Come see where the Margarita was invented, and mementos of the famous Texas Ranger raids.

Although we are suspending our big Friday and Saturday night classic and modern rock and reggae shows in the large Casinobar and Showroom venues in the back of the pier for now, we are working on a bigger and better Balinese, with expanded hours and great food to go along with exciting entertainment, retail and other special attractions.
